Rúben Matos Week 8

Here I am again to tell you about my week. So, it was a bit softer than the week before because all the works finished and now it is time to relax. I mean, I wish it would be like that but actually we are having new school work to do again.

Well, however, it was a good week because I hang out with friends and I had a dinner with other people in my house. It was quite nice because at night me and a friend of mine that came to my house, decided to ride a bike and it was great because the weather was fresh.

But there was a thing that really disturbed me a lot this year: there was no summer party in my village. It was sad not to listen to the music and the village was so quiet that it scared me... I hope the experience that I went through won't happen again because I felt very sad.

But now let’s talk about holidays. So, we are going to have two holidays in a row to rest and also serve as preparation for the summer holidays; but most importantly, finally I’m going to leave my home to go on a one-day trip. Of course, I won’t forget about the virus that never disappears but I need to go outside, I’m tired of always being at my village and  I barely get out of here.

Because of that way of thinking, many Portuguese people think the same and the virus is always with us. I’m worried about that because countries like Italy and Spain have now less virus cases and no deaths compared to our country. I hope we won't go back and stay at home again for several months. These were my thoughts and things that I did this past week.

Heyyyy guys!! I can’t believe that this is my last day in the 10th grade..this school year passed so quickly but at the same time so slowly.. At the beginning of the year I met new people and made new friends, I had new subjects and I felt a big difference compared to other years. Hello!!!       I hope everyone is okay! In this text, I will not talk about my week, I will talk about this school year. It all started when I joined a new class, where I barely knew anyone, where I was seen as "the one who comes from the problematic class". All of these factors did not favor me and prevented the approach and adaptation to the new class. I went through this difficult phase, but it was worth it, because in the end I ended up meeting incredible people who are always ready to help, but there are still hose I don't know or at least I don't speak to very often, which for me is a little strange, because despite coming from a class full of problems, it was in this class that I felt good, where we all talked, we were all together, everyone knew each other and this is for me the true meaning of "class". Hello, friends! How are you? This week I had a lot of work! Believe me… I had a Biology assignment to prepare and I lost a lot of time just looking for information about my theme. But now, I think that it’s ready and I want to present it so as to get rid of it. Although I had a lot of work, I followed the NASA and Space X mission in the space because I’d  love to go to space and I’m curious about what’s the matter up there. Going to space isn't for everyone. Now at night, I usually spend half an hour on YouTube watching live what they do in space. It really catches my eye… I also ask myself a lot of questions about how they have oxygen up there for so much time, how they have food for a lot of months, etc. I’d really like to go to space… it’s a dream!
