Simão Sousa Week 8

Hello readers!

Another week has passed and I'm starting to get tired of my house. We are almost on holidays and the Covid situation remains dangerous, I think. I wanted to go to the river with my friends or just go play football, but I haven't done it yet. I hope I’ll be able to do it soon, because I just go back with my parents at the weekend and it is very boring to stay at home a lot of time.

However, to enjoy this time I do school works and today I presented my biology work and I think it was ok…  I also had a Physics group work and to do it I spent almost 1 or 2 hours, which helped me pass the time. I also had an English presentation about a project that I chose: “Los Imparables”. It’s a project in Panama that three kids created to stop violence in their country.

To train a little I used the physical education lesson on monday morning and I felt tired! I train almost every day in the afternoon, after the classes and after the work to unwind a bit of  school. In my free time at home I also practice my flute skills learning new songs or I watch some movies, when I’m not playing with my friends.

This Sunday, I didn’t ride my bike again because some people weren’t free to go with me. However, I went walking with my parents and my brother and when we went to the bakery I stayed outside and I saw a police chase! There were two cars running away from the police, but the police managed to get these two cars.

About the experience of my father as a chef, this weekend he baked two cakes: a molotof and a bean pie. This bean pie wasn't as good as expected, but it was just to try it and I believe that next time the pie will taste better.

This was my eighth week staying safe at home. Do like me and stay safe!

Simão!
